
Without doubt, consultation is the most fundamental and crucial aspect of a successful Business Improvement District (BID).
In Coventry consultation has been, and will continue to be, conducted at key stages in the development of the City Centre BID through events and postal questionnaires and on a continual basis via the availability of the CVOne BIDs team.
We have also been producing regular BID Newsletters for all local businesses to enable them to keep up-to-date with progress of the City Centre BID.
All BID members are invited to regular Business and Retail Forum meetings for detailed updates on progress.
Prior to voting a postal questionnaire was sent out to every business likely to be affected by the City Centre BID to identify whether it was felt a BID was needed and what additional improvements to the trading environment were required. The result of this consultation has formed the basis for the business plan.
