City Centre Marketing

Income from the BID contributes significantly to a wide range of city centre marketing initiatives, all of which help to improve the perception of the city centre and, most importantly, directly increase footfall.
These initiatives include a full-colour life-style magazine promoting BID businesses to a large consumer audience, three times a year. This magazine, entitled 'Feel Alive' is distributed to 100,000 households in Coventry, as well as in the three shopping centres. One issue is produced to complement the Christmas marketing campaign - which has also included a TV commercial as well as radio and billboard advertising.
Many events take place in the city centre and all BIDS members can submit their own events to the visitcoventryandwarwickshire website to gain greater exposure.
